Key Responsibilities

● Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles at customer locations.

● Conduct oil and filter changes, lubrication services, fluid checks, inspections, and other routine maintenance.

● Inspect vehicles for potential safety and mechanical issues and communicate recommended repairs.

● Perform basic diagnostic and repair services as qualified.

● Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and customer documentation.

● Build strong relationships with fleet customers through professional and dependable service.

● Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked mobile service vehicle.

● Follow all company safety procedures and applicable DOT and workplace regulations.

● Manage daily service appointments and communicate professionally with customers.

● Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and according to company standards.

Qualifications

● Previous experience in automotive, fleet, diesel, or preventative maintenance preferred.

● Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

● Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to use basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

● Good communication and customer-service skills.

● Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

● Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience servicing commercial or fleet vehicles.

● Experience with light-, medium-, or heavy-duty vehicles.

● Familiarity with electronic maintenance and service-reporting systems.

● Relevant certifications, such as ASE certifications, are preferred.
