Push & Pull Automotive is hiring a Mobile Fleet Technician to deliver reliable on-site repairs and preventative maintenance for commercial trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment. If you’re an experienced diesel or trailer technician who works independently, communicates clearly, and takes pride in safe, accurate repairs, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment—on mobile road calls and in-yard service
  • Keep customers moving by delivering prompt, professional service and clear communication
  • Inspect and service brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems, hubs, axles, tires, bodies, and trailer components
  • Perform preventative maintenance and test equipment to ensure safe, reliable performance
  • Document work accurately through detailed work orders, inspection reports, repair notes, and findings for management
  • Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 4+ years’ experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers; mobile repair experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL preferred
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a hands-on service environment
  • Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders, billing, and documentation
  • Reliable follow-through to complete daily tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently
  • Experience with welding a plus
  • Self-motivated and independent mindset
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school degree a plus
  • Your own tools
