Overview

Acts as the primary owner for all LubeZone locations having full P&L responsibility. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with experience identifying new business opportunities to drive growth and possess experience in financial and personnel management. This position will focus on developing strategies for sales growth, brand positioning, and customer acquisition. Heavy emphasis is placed on growing market share in existing locations as well as strategizing opportunities based on competitive analysis to grow the overall business for LubeZone.

 

Responsible for ensuring performance objectives are met and achieving successful business results. Oversee daily operations metrics, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and alignment with company goals while identifying opportunities for growth and customer acquisition. You will lead staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for overseeing shop performance and productivity, safety compliance, budgeting, and overall business strategy.

 

This position will balance Market Growth, Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Employee Engagement to achieve business goals in Sales, Customer Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, Profitability and Growth, including retention of current customers, addition of new customers and business expansion.

 

This position is required to stay ahead of industry trends, embrace new technologies, processes, systems and best practices to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize activities to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

 

This position has heavy emphasis on industry networking and communications to grow the business.

 

Track key performance metrics providing regular updates and results-based insights to senior leadership, including trends and opportunities for improvement.

 

Monitor market and industry trends to determine business opportunities and challenges. Set the stage for growth by evaluating geographies and customer needs for expansion and market share within truck maintenance industry.

 

Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.

 

Track key performance indicators including revenue, profit, market share, customer satisfaction/retention, employee performance and safety.

 

Ensuring business compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

 

Effectively convey management decisions and policies, connecting decisions to team activities, and helping in the implementation process. Must clearly understand the market and industry trends.

 

Engage in regular status update meetings with key leadership across all departments, business units and locations.

 

Identify risks and issues affecting synergy realization and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation plans

Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Exceptionally strong communication and presentation skills.

8+ years of commercial experience with a deep understanding of the trucking industry/marketplace.

5+ years’ experience owning/managing P&L

Experience with full oversight of employees and facilities in multi-state setting

Experience in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation or related field or equivalent business experience preferred.

Proven track record of high performance

Strong understanding of financial operating performance models

Ability to manage cost control and financial budgets

Ability to see the global scope of business operations, tied to sound business acumen and problem-solving skills.

8+ years of commercial experience

5+ Years of Sales Growth Results

5+ Years of owning and managing P&L

3+ Years Trucking or Transportation Experience

Pay Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
